Darlington Borough Council has made 6 valuable additions to its workforce by recruiting full-time electrical engineer apprentices who were recommended by Darlington College.

With the regular introduction of new legislations and qualifications, the electrical sector faces a constant challenge when updating employee skills. This is combined with the need for over 37,000 people to replace those retiring or leaving the industry between 2009 and 2014 (SEMTA).
