What is Train to Gain?

As an employer you want every employee to be working to achieve their full potential. Considering that almost a third of our working population does not have a level 2 qualification, it could be your employees that are missing the necessary skills for them to do their job to the best of their ability. 

But we do offer a solution; Train to Gain is a Government funded initiative that supports employers in improving the skills of employees with relevant, tailored training that’s either fully or partially funded based on personal circumstances.

To be eligible, the employee:

-          Must be aged 19 or over

-          Must not already hold any sort of Level 2 qualification in any subject

-          Must not hold 5 GCSEs grades A-C or equivalent

 As part of the Train to Gain service, employers with fewer than 50 full time or equivalent employees may be eligible for a contribution towards the wage costs of employees taking part in training. Call 01325 503282 for more details.
