Responding to Redundancy
Darlington College has introduced a new response to redundancy training package that offers those who have recently been made redundant free short courses in a number of key business areas.
The response to redundancy programme is designed to get participants back into work and retrain in key employment areas, including;

• Carpentry and Joinery
• Customer Service
• Engineering
• Finance
• Food and Drink Service
• Hairdressing
• Health and Social Care
• Hospitality-Bakery
• Hospitality-Food Preparation
• ICT
• Management
• Motor Vehicle
• Plastering
• Plumbing
Included in the training package is help for individuals with; interview techniques, CV writing and careers guidance to help widen their future career opportunities.
Suitable candidates must live in the Darlington or Country Durham area.
