Case Study: C&G 2382 17th Edition
RAF Leeming found the Tailored Training courses offered by Business First as essential for updating personal qualifications.
Sgt Matt Pope had the responsibility of fulfilling legal requirements to ensure all of his electricians had the right certification due to a slight change in the law. For 12 electricians this meant that their existing skills needed recognising with C&G 2382 17th Edition training for the IEE Wiring Regulations.
Clare Fothergill, Business Advisor at Business First was able to tailor a 3 day learning programme to suit Sgt Pope’s requirements. The programme was delivered on-site for the convenience of all involved. After the theory and teaching elements were complete, all candidates attended Darlington College to complete an online examination.
All 12 successfully passed and were awarded with their certificate.

‘I am already planning to arrange further training in the New Year to put another group through 17th edition and the C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation. It is very important to us that personal skills are recognised through qualifications’.
