Our dedicated Business First team are a specialist department at Darlington College who can advise on training, qualifications and funding for businesses who want to maximise their competitive advantage by making life-long investments into their workforce.
We offer structured training and development programmes ranging from 1 day courses including the CIEH Food Safety in Catering, to full Management and Leadership qualifications. All can be delivered with a flexible learning approach to fit around the demands of your business.
If you’re looking to recruit fresh new talent or want to give existing employees the opportunity to learn new skills, we offer three different training routes – Apprenticeships, Train to Gain and Tailored Training.
Case Study: Health and Social Care
The Salvation Army helped employees at their Darlington Centre to improve their confidence and update their skills, by offering them the chance to attend college one day per week and achieve a recognised qualification in Health and Social Care.
